No, you do not need to buy this power adapter if you buy a NIRA laser. You may use any medical grade or electrical safety certified power adapter with the provided USB-C charging cable to charge your NIRA laser. A USB-C charging cable is included with all NIRA laser purchases.
How do I charge my NIRA laser?

To charge your NIRA laser, plug the USB-C end of the provided charging cable into your NIRA laser. Then, connect the USB end of the cable into a power adapter and plug it into a wall power outlet. The lights above the charging port of the laser will start to flash which indicates that the device is charging.
You’ll know that the laser is fully charged when the battery indicator lights stop flashing. Please note that neither NIRA laser will work while they are charging and that you must unplug your device to begin treatment.
