Yes! The NIRA Precision Laser is a portable, wireless device that travels well. NIRA Precision is small enough to fit in a carry-on bag, does not need to be plugged in for use, and contains a built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery. If possible, we recommend packing the device in its original packaging to avoid damage.

If you’re just starting out, set your NIRA Precision to level 1. Place the device tip to your skin and press the treatment button to fire the laser. After 40 pulses are successfully completed, you will hear a jingle which indicates that you can move treatment to the next area.

NIRA Precision is intended to be used on clean, dry, undamaged and intact skin only. If you are using other at-home skincare devices or tools (like red light therapy, microcurrent, etc.), we recommend using the other skincare devices in alternation with NIRA Precision to give your skin some time to reset. For example, you can use NIRA in the morning and other skincare devices in the evening, or vice versa.

If you are using other at-home skincare devices or tools that injure or puncture the skin (like derma rollers, microneedles, etc.), please refrain from using NIRA Precision on areas of skin that are broken or punctured. Instead, wait until the skin is fully healed before treating it with the NIRA Precision Laser.

The NIRA Precision Laser needs to be placed completely against the skin to fire. The rejection tone indicates that the device tip did not have full contact with the skin. If you hear this tone during treatment, reposition the device tip and make sure there is full skin contact. Keep the device stationary during each laser pulse. Please note that the laser should be used on clean, dry, and intact skin.

If you need to troubleshoot an issue with a NIRA Precision Laser, here’s how:

• Press the power button to turn the device off. Press the power button to turn the device back on. This will recalibrate the capacitive sensors. For a full reboot, hold down the power button for 15 seconds.
• Gently place the device tip completely against the skin and press the treatment button with your thumb.
• You will hear a series of two beeps. The first beep indicates that the laser has begun firing. The second beep indicates the laser finished firing for that one spot.
• Do not move the device until each pulse is complete.

Be sure to move the laser to a new spot for each pulse. If you apply treatment to the same spot twice in a row, the heat in your skin may build up to a point where you feel discomfort or pain. This is not recommended and should be avoided.

If your NIRA Precision Laser stops working, please first check that it is turned on and charged. There are also troubleshooting instructions on your device’s Instructions for Use manual. If you are unable to resolve the issue, please contact our Customer Support team at info@niraskin.com.

If your NIRA Precision Laser will not turn on, please try charging it with the provided USB to USB-C charging cable for more than 1 hour. If this does not resolve the problem, please try resetting the device by holding the power button for 15 seconds.

The NIRA Precision Laser will fully charge within 3 hours. You'll know that the laser is fully charged when the battery indicator lights stop flashing. Please note that the laser will not work while it is charging and that you must unplug your device to begin treatment.

A fully charged NIRA Precision Laser will last approximately 4 hours of continuous use. This equates to several weeks of daily usage between charges. Please note that this time will vary based upon your settings and treatment time.

If the battery is 50% to 100% charged when you turn on your device, both lights above the charging port will be illuminated. If your laser is less than 50% charged, the top light will not be illuminated. If you are about to lose your charge, then the bottom light will flash.

To charge your NIRA Precision Laser, plug the USB-C end of the provided charging cable into your laser. Then, connect the USB end of the cable into a power adapter (sold separately) and plug it into a wall power outlet. The lights above the charging port will start to flash.
