Yes! The NIRA Pro Laser is a portable, wireless device that travels well. NIRA Pro is small enough to fit in a carry-on bag, does not need to be plugged in for use, and contains a built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery. If possible, we recommend packing the device in its original packaging to avoid damage.

The NIRA Pro Laser works by gently heating up the water in your skin to stimulate natural collagen production. If you feel a warming sensation while using NIRA Pro, the laser is working. To get the results illustrated on our website, you need to use the laser routinely - 10 pulses per treatment area, per day, for 90 days. 

If you’re just starting out, set your NIRA Pro to level 1. Place the device tip to your skin. The laser will automatically fire once. A successfully delivered pulse is confirmed by 2 beeps. The first beep indicates the laser has begun firing. The second beep indicates the laser finished firing for that one spot. Move the laser, repeat this process, and continue to increase the power level until you’ve reached a level where you feel warmth without pain. After 10 pulses are successfully completed, you will hear a jingle which indicates that you can move treatment to the next area.

Note: If you hear the initial pulse followed by the error tone, the pulse was not complete; you likely pulled the laser off the skin too early. NIRA Pro is intended to be used on clean, dry, undamaged and intact skin only. If you are using other at-home skincare devices or tools (like red light therapy, microcurrent, etc.), we recommend using the other skincare devices in alternation with NIRA Pro to give your skin some time to reset. For example, you can use NIRA in the morning and other skincare devices in the evening, or vice versa.

If you are using other at-home skincare devices or tools that injure or puncture the skin (like derma rollers, microneedles, etc.), please refrain from using NIRA Pro on areas of skin that are broken or punctured. Instead, wait until the skin is fully healed before treating it with the NIRA Pro Laser.

The NIRA Pro Laser needs to be placed completely against the skin to fire. The rejection tone indicates that the device tip did not have full contact with the skin. If you hear this tone during treatment, reposition the device tip and make sure there is full skin contact. Keep the device stationary during each laser pulse. Please note that the laser should be used on clean, dry, and intact skin.

If you need to troubleshoot an issue with a NIRA Pro Laser, here’s how:

• Press the power button to turn the device off. Press the power button to turn the device back on. This will recalibrate the capacitive sensors. For a full reboot, hold down the power button for 15 seconds.
• Gently place the device tip completely against the skin. Treatment should begin automatically.
• You will hear a series of two beeps. The first beep indicates that the laser has begun firing. The second beep indicates the laser finished firing for that one spot.
• Do not move the device until each pulse is complete.

Be sure to move the laser to a new spot for each pulse. If you apply treatment to the same spot twice in a row, the heat in your skin may build up to a point where you feel discomfort or pain. This is not recommended and should be avoided.

If your NIRA Pro Laser stops working, please first check that it is turned on and charged. There are also troubleshooting instructions on your device’s Instructions for Use manual. If you are unable to resolve the issue, please contact our Customer Support team at info@niraskin.com.

If your NIRA Pro Laser will not turn on, please try charging it with the provided USB to USB-C charging cable for more than 1 hour. If this does not resolve the problem, please try resetting the device by holding the power button for 15 seconds.

The NIRA Pro Laser will fully charge within 3 hours. You'll know that the laser is fully charged when the battery indicator lights stop flashing. Please note that the NIRA Pro Laser will not work while it is charging and that you must unplug your device to begin treatment.

A fully charged NIRA Pro Laser will last approximately 40 minutes of continuous use. This equates to approximately 3 days of daily treatments on facial wrinkles between charges. Please note that this time will vary based upon your power level settings and treatment time.

If the battery is 50% to 100% charged when you turn on your device, both lights above the charging port will be illuminated. If your laser is less than 50% charged, the top light will not be illuminated. If you are about to lose your charge, then the bottom light will flash.

To charge your NIRA Pro Laser, plug the USB-C end of the provided charging cable into your laser. Then, connect the USB end of the cable into a power adapter (sold separately) and plug it into a wall power outlet. The lights above the charging port will start to flash.
